Alpha requirements

Who we're looking for

Alpha is a small, hands-on program. We're looking for technically comfortable users who can work with rough edges and give useful feedback. Here's what you'll need.

Required
  • Mac (macOS 14 Sonoma or later) — Windows support is coming, not yet in alpha
  • OpenClaw installed and running — this is the AI agent orchestration layer PrivacyShroud runs inside
  • Comfortable in a terminal — the install is one command, but troubleshooting may require it
  • Desktop or laptop access to the machine running OpenClaw — or remote desktop (Screen Sharing, Tailscale, etc.)
  • Email account accessible to your OpenClaw agent — needed for broker opt-out confirmation emails
  • Willingness to report bugs and give candid feedback
Helpful but not required
  • CapSolver account — we'll help you get set up and provide starter credits as part of the alpha reward. Handles CAPTCHA challenges automatically so runs complete without intervention.
  • Telegram or Discord — useful for directing the agent from your phone and receiving run completion notifications
  • Multiple addresses or previous locations — gives broader broker coverage during discovery
  • Prior experience with OpenClaw agent skills

As a reward for Alpha participation, we are offering a free 1-year Standard subscription that lets you run PrivacyShroud for you and your family (up to 5 people), contingent on actual product launch. An important (but optional) integrated tool used by PrivacyShroud is CapSolver, which automatically solves most browser CAPTCHA challenges. CapSolver requires a separate subscription. We are providing Alpha testers with generous starting credits to get you running without manual CAPTCHA intervention from day one. No credit card required. These are permanent rewards for helping us get PrivacyShroud right.
